Lake Anosy is an artificial lake located south of Antananarivo, it is a heart-shaped lake lined with jacaranda trees, plus an islet with a golden WWI memorial on a plinth.
Here, the area is filled with jacaranda trees. In the middle of the lake stands the “Black Angel” statue, which is a monument in memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the First World War.
